Windows 98 - Errors with RAM > 512mb |

You may get "Out of Memory" errors when running Windows 98 with more than 512mb of memory.
With 1gb of memory in the system you will need to specify cache maximum values.
Windows dynamically determines how much virtual cache is available based on the amount of physical memory installed.
We need to set the following variables in the system.ini file, under the "[vcache]" section.
MinFileCache=512000
MaxFileCache=524288
This effectively makes windows 98 only use 512mb for virtual case. Reboot to affect the change.
