RHEL3 - Bash Broken (prior to Taroon Update 5)

There are problems with bash on RHEL3.
Certain scripts run into errors and will not execute properly.
Before Taroon Update 5 the version of bash needed to be upgraded to work properly.

The Fedora Core 1 version is bash-2.05b-34.i386.rpm. It will run without problem on RHEL3, just
rpm -Uvh
... Any version after this should work fine.

Just pickup the bash from the Fedora Core Repositories.
