Calcono is one of Sydney’s leading formwork companies across residential, commercial and industrial construction projects. Calcono supplies the highest of quality formwork solutions and services, including conventional formwork, table form, jump forms, safety screens, metal decking and more. A family-owned business, they have had tremendous success and in 2019 celebrated Calcono’s 30th anniversary.
When we were engaged to assist Calcono, communication between head office and field workers had ceased to
be productive. The team were relying on disparate and non-integrated technology, causing mounting frustration. Field workers could not access or share information whilst operating on construction sites.
The flow-on effect meant missed deadlines and communication faults were becoming a part of their daily working life and not allowing Calcono to scale.
We started with a hands-on review and in-depth interviews with head office staff and site project managers to understand where the breakdowns occurred. Once the key issues were identified, we produced an upgrade plan to improve Calcono’s I.T. to a more streamlined, well-organised system.
Microsoft Business 365 was implemented, and old, slow running servers were retired. All mobile devices, including telephones, tablets and laptops, were brought under a tightly controlled management system. Consistency across all devices in the organisation allows employees to be issued with new or replacement equipment within hours of a problem.
By running informal training sessions using real-world problems as examples, mobile workers understood and embraced new technologies and work practices.

Senior Network Engineer
Adding another 40+ years’ IT experience to our team, Trevor has designed and worked in large Enterprise networks. He’s our Server and Infrastructure guy, helping us build robust cyber secure servers and networks. He’s responsible for designing and maintaining servers, networks, firewalls, and security devices.
Accounts & Administration
Karena has an accounting degree and 10 years experience working with CyberPro. The team relies on her for the smooth running of all aspects of administration and accounts. Karena is a whizz in internal accounting systems and the person you’ll chat to about your account.
Matt brings 15+ years of IT experience in Internet service providers, web hosting, and data warehousing. He’s our go-to for web security and Microsoft Office 365 advanced management. Beyond his expertise in web and email cyber security, he also assists clients with cyber security accreditation.
Co-ordinator & Administration
After 3 years with CyberPro, there’s not much Jenny doesn’t do. Her responsibilities cover coordinating the help desk, client liaison, logistics, ordering, license renewals, quotations, contract administration. And she’s our ISO9001 quality champion.
With over 30 years of experience in IT, including huge rollouts of technology in the armed forces and large Enterprises, Michael’s our automation and templated system builds whizz. He supports the remote management systems that let us upgrade hundreds of systems at the press of a button.
